I have a 2022 Bighorn that does not have the dual dimmer switch. I would like to keep the footwell lights on when headlights are on at night. We have this in our Tahoe and I like the low lights on.

What would be the best way to go about this?

I just double checked. They do go off when the dome lights go off.

Mine stay on my 2020 Bighorn. I'm not sure if it needs the adjustment knob turned down from high or what I call the blaring instrument panel sun.

They are on with the headlamps on 2020 Bighorn.

Well let me double check again. I swear they weren’t staying on last night.

They aren’t all that bright. They are just accent lighting. I don’t recall if they’re LED or not, I believe you can get different LED colored bulbs from @LASFIT though.

if you have a lower trim level they only come on when you open the door or turn all the dome lights. if you have the door accent lighting then you have leds under the dash. they come on when the headlights are on and the dimmer switch is one click down from all the way up. if you want them to stay on all the time there is a white with green wire (19-22) on the driver side of the dash that becomes hot when the headlights are on. you would have to tap into that. new models may have a different wiring color.
