My truck has MFT so the bed step is center mounted, but I can't figure out how to get the step to lower... kick it, push it, put my whole body weight on it, no movement at all. What's the trick?

You put your foot on it and pull it towards you. If it isn't coming out, it could be bound up.

Try grabbing it with your hands and see if you can pull it out. I had trouble at first because I was stepping on it vs just dragging it out with my foot. Once I realized it pulled straight out I knew how to use my foot to do it.

yeah what has already been said. more pressure towards you rather than down. think of stepping on a piece of paper and sliding it behind you. similar motion.

engage those hamstrings!! haha

I had to ask my sales rep. :-)

Place the toe of your boot one edge of the step and with gentle pressure drag it towards you. Very little force required
