How much have you spent on mods?

My brain cannot justify mods until truck is paid off, 30 months left, patience is my friend... so far only bought Borla exhaust

Thanks for the info, Skater. I'm in Texas as well, so will just have to deal with the heat thing, but I am going to grab me one of those. My BMW had wireless Apple Play and now I'm spoiled!
I do not believe you will be disappointed. It is a very convenient accommodation in not having to plug your iPhone in when you get into your Ram and then have to unplug it again when you get out.

So far just $275 for Flowmaster Outlaw and weld-in install plus $89 for a DeeZee heavy duty rubber bed mat to compliment my spray-in liner.

However, I plan on catching up soon, will do a level/lift, new wheels & 34" tires in the next month or so.

It's pretty cool seeing what mods everyone chooses to do and in what order. From practical to aesthetics to safety to convenience and comfort. For any newbies to the RAM world this is a great thread to get some info on what mods seem to be popular amongst other owners and the typical/avg costs associated with them. I like that its been pretty positive overall too. Everyone taking pride in the customizations they've made. Awesome idea for a discussion @antwon412

1. Sound good.
2. Go fast.
3. Stop good.
4. Look good.
5. Run over stuff.

I’m somewhere over 12k I think... I thought about it the other day and need to stop. If I didn’t get a great deal on my Procharger, headers and wheels I would be close to 20k I think lol...
What I can remember, bakflip, hellwig, oem bed step, tint, painted tails and 3rd brake light, led lights for 3rd brake light and vanity mirrors, 5 infinity 3.5’s and 4 6x9’s, subs and box, pac amppro, stinger wiring, rims and tires, 2 new sets of tpms, Procharger, afe cold air intake prior to Procharger, painted front grille slats and engine cover, vinyl stickers for ram letters under hood and letters on engine cover, CarPlay wireless adapter, ppf on grille slats, cheeks and headlights, tailgate light bar, foam seal for tailgate, weather tech mudflaps, ARH longtube headers, custom vent pod, autometer boost and wideband gauge, hornblasters train horn kit with 2 gallon tank and 4 horns, bought 5 gallon tank and 2 more horns, viper alarm hooked up to train horn, new oil dipstick and front fender liners as I put a hole in my dipstick installing headers and wanted to trim less of my fender liners.

I think mixed reviews on the wireless CarPlay is accurate. Don’t need to get into details here since there is an entire thread on it but yeah I don’t use mine any longer unfortunately.

I picked up a very small 128GB Thumb Drive and copied all my MP3 files to it.
Select source as one of the three USB data sources, Press Play, and shuffle buttons,
Endless Music without Commercials and only the songs you like to boot.

$18.71 @ Amazon

I did the same thing. It’s so small you can’t even see it in the port in the dash. 10,000 songs at my fingertips. It’s still nice to have satellite radio and my phone when I want as well. But I use the USB drive pretty often.

Pretty much what I did too with "small" USB stick :) but I use YouTube Music mostly with no commercials which is part of YouTube Premium subscription for $18 per month for 6 people.

Also, when I turn my truck on my 12" uconnect system connects to my Pixel 4XL automatically and starts youtube music with zero touch, I found this very convenient everyday.

Interesting we’re still using the ole USB with all this new technology that’s supposed to work lol. I like it thanks guys. Side note I subscribed to Spotify a few months ago and I absolutely hate it.

Whatever headlights, grille, and the plastic pieces that go underneath the headlights would run, plus painting stuff since the grille surround on the longhorn/limited don't come in Ivory Tri-Coat (just black or chrome as far as I know). Ideally I'd get all of the pieces from the black appearance package Limited and then have the grille surround and pieces under the headlights painted. A lot of money to spend just to get LED projector headlights.

EDIT: just found the thread where someone else did the Longhorn front end swap on a Laramie... parts alone would run like $2400, plus paint.
Do you have a link to the thread on the swap?
