My 2026 Ram Laramie Night Edition w/Hurricane SO engine came with a passenger screen. I'm trying to determine what use it might be to my passenger. How do YOU use it? Anyone use it for streaming, or use FireStick with it?

It would be interesting to plug a fire stick into it and see how well it works. At this point, the screen gets used as a backboard for when my wife sets her phone up to it to watch her TV shows on her phone. My son plugged his phone in once but the additional screen size was pretty minimal and it kept flickering so it wasn’t even a consistent connection. He made about five minutes before he unplugged it and just set his phone up against the screen as well.

We, wife, don't use it either.
I think it's a waste too. Came with the package(trim level)
2025 limited.

Does it at least allow the passenger to make changes to the NAV while in motion? IIRC, that was about the only use case that anyone could think of when the feature was first revealed.

Yes. It will allow you to do that. Few other things.

Another waste of electronics being forced on us. Hey Ram, just make it an option, so if a buyer wants it, great. Not any good for the driver, just passengers. I can just tell Siri where I want to go if I need directions. 95% of my driving is solo, I just want the glove box.
I watched some videos on the use of it and it’s not really up to the hype IMHO.

When I bought the truck I was really excited about the screen. It was a cool talking/bragging point. After having the truck for a year, all it is is a talking point and mostly a waste of space. Bummer.
