Do a search on this forum for water leaks and you will find the information you are looking for.

There have been leaks at the front and rear. The rear are almost always related to the pano drains. The front can be related to the drains or seam welds. You can check the drains yourself, especially the rear drains where most of the problems occur, to make sure they are properly seated. You can also put some silicone on them from the interior or exterior to make sure they stay in place. I will include a link below to a thread that discusses this in detail. Also below are pics of the drains from the outside. If you look between the cab and the bed you will see them. In one pic you will see it flush and in the other pic it’s not flush and needs to be pushed back in a bit (some are even worse than this pic). I reseated mine and put some clear silicone around the edges. You can access them from underneath the truck if you reach up in between the cab and bed.

The first one isn’t searched properly. Second one is correct.

Great! thanks for the info Patsy1099,

On the F150 that I had the drains had a problem where they disconnected from the top on the sunroof area so the water poured down, in the Ram the problem is only that they are seated correctly at the end correct?

For the rear drains that seems to be correct, they just need to be reseated and possibly some silicone. For the front it could be they get disconnected or for some, problems with the welds in front (not the drains). I’d start by checking the rear drains and then keep an eye on the mats and check for water after a bad rain or wash.
