Finally after my DYI fix I’m taking the truck for a 300 mile journey.

Full tank. 37psi all tires. 2 adults 3 kids and 3 bags in the back.
It’s 100 degrees outside. Ac at 70 fan speed 4.
First stop I got 22mpg and my db were pretty low. 160 miles and my range still shows 350 left.

Please share your MPG on road trips.
Thanks

Although I don’t have any picks I was on a fairly long drive on the highway today and I was getting anywhere from 23 - 26 MPG . Keep in mind though that I’m in Canada and our speed limits are only 100 KPH which is roughly 60 MPH .

I did 500 miles from chicago to kansas city a month ago. cruise set at 75 the whole way.. a few stops in between. The dash said 20.5 MPG
3.21 4x4 crew 5.7

@berniemac23 what was your diy fix?

The best mpg I have been able to get is 20.5 never going above 70 mph. As to db, no idea as I've never measured it. All I can say is the truck is silent on the hwy!

5875 miles San Diego to Nags Head and back, loaded down and basically following the speed limits (which ranged from 60 to 80 mph) and my average was in the mid 17 to low 18. Also included some 4 wheel driving in the sand but not much distance to bring the mpg down that much.
