Horn with remote start (Please hear me out)

Hello. I know there are many posts that have addressed how to correct this. I haven’t found one that can help with what I am frustrated about. I am hoping this RAM-knowledgeable community of folks can point me in the right direction. This is my 1st RAM (new to me) after years of Ford and Toyota trucks.

My 2023 1500 Lone Star did not come with a remote start option fob. I bought the bypass, downloaded AlfaOBD, bought a fob with remote start, had the fob programmed to the truck, successfully unlocked remote start. My truck does not have a setting on the radio/Uconnect that I can change the horn sounding when remote start, so it's AlfaOBD to try and resolve. I have tried on three occasions to eliminate the double honk when the truck is remote started. I go in to AlfaOBD, select my BCM, car configuration, "Sound Horn with Remote Start", select No. I press Start and it confirms the change. I disconnect. I don’t try any other modifications. I know the truck needs to be driven for these changes to register. I have driven to work in the morning, after I used AlfaOBD the night before. I’m on the road for 30 minutes, up to 65 mph or more. I get to work, lock the truck, hit the remote start, and it honks twice and then starts. It's the honking twice I can’t seem to disable. I just tried making the change in AlfaOBD and then immediately drove the truck for 20 minutes getting up to 70 mph for a good stretch. Got home, same result.

In AlfaOBD I am in RAM 1500 (DS/DX/DT), Body Computer, Body Computer: DT MY2022+ PowerNet. There is a MY2023+ PowerNet option but AlfaOBD selects the 2022+ one.

I go in to AlfaOBD, select my BCM, car configuration, "Sound Horn with Remote Start", select No. I press Start and it confirms the change.

It’s the other way around- you want to set that to yes, because that is the configuration that puts the setting in the radio to turn it on or off.

So, to recap, set CustSetMenu 1: Sound Horn with Remote Start CSM Present to Yes.
Then reboot the radio twice in a row by pressing and holding the power button for 15 seconds.
Then go into vehicle settings, find that setting, and turn it off.

Success, Thank you! Only thing was the radio reboot didnt work for me as described, but pressing and holding the On/Vol button at the same time as the Tuner buttion for 13 seconds did the reboot. Thanks again.
