Hi from El Paso TX

I am currently driving a 2019 ram 1500 Lonestar sport edition all white 5.7 hemi 4x4. I painted the roof of the truck black added a mopar trifold bed cover so the top looks all black. Next will be a 4" bds lift kit on 35s.
I came across this forum when looking to see if anyone else was having issues with the 8.4 Uconnect screen mine had been glitching and now its completely off taking it to the dealer tomorrow hopefully its under warranty still. I am seeing that its possible to upgrade to the 12 inch screen and depending on the outcome of the current one I am really leaning towards doing the upgrade.

Welcome to the forum! I would love to see pictures of that black roof because my truck is also white. I have also had my 8.4 (no nav) randomly reset on me about 5 times in the last 4 months but haven't had time to get it to the dealer.

Yes I am planning on painting what is left chrome white. I am also getting the lift kit painted white. I’ll post pictures once that is done

Was it a reset? It turned back on once I got out of work

I also installed (myself) a Dee Zee tailgate assist I found on amazon. Posted a little video of the results on my tik tok I couldn’t upload here if y’all want to look @yakieo90 ☺ Here’s a screen shot of when I was inside the taillight. Btw those push rivets were the hardest thing to take off still haven’t put any back in

Was it a reset? It turned back on once I got out of work

It would just turn off then right back on like I was starting my truck again, I don't lose any of my presets or anything it's just a bit annoying.
