2026 MODEL YEAR CONTENT
6/5 EDIT - FINALLY we can say the HEMI is coming back! As of today, we're told it will be available on all Ram 1500s aside from the RHO and Tungsten (rebel delayed)
The hurricane and pentastar will remain available as applicable - with the HEMI as an available upgrade for $1200. We should be able to order next week, with production hopefully in August. Will continue to share updates on availability, pricing, and timing as things roll out.

The full code guides are here for your perusal if you're into that sort of nerdy thing!
https://sharesync.serverdata.net/us4/s/oVJfzIqYKQVC3Jfg4t04el003f24cd

The entire paint-program throughout the RAM line up is going through some changes, so it's a moving target of what is available and what WILL be available.
I'll post up some grids and photos below to help clarify some of that.

TIMING

TBD on start-date of 2026 MY production; though we were told in that their plan was to complete 2025 production in the month of June.

Sometimes the next model year begins immediately , other times there can be a few week gap while they do any re-tooling or maintenance, etc. Even though the RHO may not look like much changing, it can be effected by other trims release/change.

HOW TO GET YOUR QUOTE

Since the content is so similar so far, you can use the ramtrucks.com build & price tool to spec out just what you’d like. Once complete, you’ll see a little letter I next to your price, click on that lil guy and it’ll open a summary.
Hit the expand-down arrow next to “added options” to show the goods. Screenshot the summary, and send it on over to [email protected]

HOW WE ORDER

We’ll gather some basic info from you (secure upload) like your license, contact info, etc
Your order specialist will walk you through line by line and order the vehicle with you on the phone
Electronic documents to sign arrive momentarily after, including the POC, buyers order, and incentives config when available
$1,000 non-refundable deposit due within 3 business days of placing order

Upon delivery, we’ll provide as many pictures/video as necessary to showcase the vehicle condition
PDI process is executed by our team in their dedicated PDI building on site
Total finance process is executed remotely with zoom/e-signatures
We can coordinate delivery to your home (you pay carrier), or we can drive to meet you or pick you up within 250 miles of the dealership as well!

QUESTIONS?!
Please email us with questions to [email protected], while I’ll try to monitor this thread, sometimes multiple blinky red lights confuse me.

COLORS
LOTS of moving parts here - the code guide lists some new colors that will be available such as the MOLTEN RED, SERRANO GREEN, and CANYON LAKE. They are also swapping, in phases, from billet silver to silver zenyth.
We will NEVER know the date that the new colors open, until they're open!

Here's what we can currently order, and some pictures of the newer colors below:

See below for powertrain availability - a checkmark means it is a standard feature, O means optional, and minus means not available:

When I go to "Build & Price" on Ram's website it doesnt offer the option to build a 2026. Am I missing something?
From what I've been told they are very slow to update that process on the site and it might be some time before we see that updated for 2026. Hopefully sooner rather than later.

They are encouraging people to go to their dealers to explore builds, but personally I like to use the B&P tool on the Ram site to figure out what I want before I would ever engage a dealer.

Completely normal - consumer site is always a few weeks (months?) later.
Build exactly as a 2025, changes are in color and hemi availability - we cna convert for you once you send to [email protected]

That's interesting, I personally would prefer the Hemi, but surprised it's the higher priced option considering it's power specs? I should be slotted below the SO motor, they way Ford slots the 5.0L vs the 3.5L Ecoboost.

But this is Stellantis, not surprised they are using this to charge more for a lower spec engine due to "marketing", like they do Last Calls that aren't last calls.

If you include the 33G tank and Passive Cold Exhaust, the HEMI is cheaper option on a 2026 truck than it has ever been on a 5th gen (as a charge above the standard pentastar, where applicable)
They also lowered the Hurricane upgrade charge, in my mind to intentionally make it less than the HEMI.
Slower things aren't always cheaper, and not all costs are physical.
In the end you have to decide to get what you want, and not waste time thinking about how much you'd have been charged for something you didn't want, in my opinion.

Over the life of the car loan the added cost will not hurt that much. I suspect that even though they are bringing the Hemi back, for the long game they would still prefer the Hurricane become the engine of choice. Anthony makes a good point that you are also getting the better exhaust system plus the 33 gal tank (which is something I want personally). But again, I do hope they will bring the 6.4L (w/o etorque) to the list of possible options for the 1500.

Good point, though I'd probably prefer a Borla ATAK, I'd rather not be charged with for that exhaust, but I do love the 33 gallon tank.

Still, my point isn't about what I would prefer, but how Stellantis sees these engines in the hierarchy, the fact that it's charging more than the Hurricane is interesting to me.

Ah see there's the rub - the consumer thinks "better must be more expensive" and therefore each consumer has a different version of "better" and how much better they're willing to pay for, for the different upgrades/options.

But to the manufacturer how they price may have to do with their actual incremental costs of what it takes to make more, R&D costs what it took to get there, regulatory costs, etc etc etc. Which are all irrelevant to you, the consumer, who just has to decide what they want to pay for it :)

Well, I mean it is a more complicated engine with more horsepower and torque, a higher tow rating, and slightly better mpg, it is technically supposed to be the better motor, and design specifically to replace the Hemi as the next gen engine in the 1500.

It also is relatively newly produced, so it has a lot of amortization to go through before it actually starts paying for itself, which the Hemi has long paid for itself long time ago.

So why is the more expensive again? This is just marketing and a way for Stellantis to cash in, hence that ugly badge?

To be fair, I'm sure the sport exhaust and the 33 gallon gas tank adds a bit in comparison to their production cost, factor in rushing this motor for US production and making it work with the new electrical system, so there's probably that.

it's coming, just do not know which trim levels.
That is good to know. One thought keeps surfacing for me though. Given the electrical issues that at least some 2025 owners have experienced, I do wonder how well the Hemis will interface to the new Atlantis electrical platform. Is Stellantis making any changes to the 2026 architecture to correct some of the problems they have experienced with the 2025 model? Just something that I do wonder about.

i highly doubt it. all they need to do to get by was create harnesses that are compatible with the HEMI engines.
