Hemi Pricing

The Ram build web site shows Hemi (no e-torque) is $1795.

Dealer worked up a build sheet for me that shows $2295 for Hemi.

All the other option prices in the build sheet match the Ram build site.

The dealer could not explain the $500 difference in Hemi price.

Anybody else experience this or know what's going on?

I'm going to place the order tomorrow.

Thanks !

Prices increase on options and packages throughout the model year. This is probably just one of those increases. As for the actual reason for the increase, only Ram knows that. I’m sure the current climate of parts and equipment shortages isn’t helping matters.

The dealer and their ordering system will always have the most up-to-date information. Ram is usually pretty slow to update the build and price on their website.

There was a discussion the other day on here about this and some believe this might be Rams way of getting more buyers to get the Hemi with the eTorque now that both Hemi options are the same price. Before, the eTorque equipped Hemi was more money, which possibly drove buyers to go with the less expensive regular Hemi.

Being called addendums. All manufactures are adding cost because of supply chain issues. Local Ford dealers are adding upwards of 15k to 150s with no reason whatsoever and people are paying it.

Had the same experience they could not figure it out. When I went into some specs on the ram website it also showed $2295, but I can’t for the life of me remember where I saw it now.

The website builder is always slow to update.

Starting in April the price of Hemi and eTorque Hemi went up to $2,295

They are the same price now

Another reason I went with a Limited, regular HEMI standard. That price is crazy for an engine upgrade. That is over double the price as during 2019 MY.

When I ordered my 2021 Rebel the base MSRP was lower then my dealer build sheet as well. When the vehicle was delivered to my dealer it increased again but with the market the way it is the dealer said it is what it is.

It's legit. Had several build sheets submitted with the price increase this past weekend. I noticed around the first week of April. You will see many different prices on window stickers if you shop enough. You can tell how long they've been on the lot. If you look lower right of the VIN there is month day usually 04 11 for April 11th. Good thing to know.

I spent the last few weeks building up the perfect (for me) Laramie on the Ram site, went to
dealer after work today, and they could not order it.

They said that FCA stopped taking orders on 2021's today!

Called another dealer and they confirmed no more new orders...

Not a happy day...

In was expecting it would come sooner than later, but nobody posted a date for retail sales orders. Here's Donlen on Fleet sales stopping 3-1.
