There are a few possibilities.
- The nut on top of the strut assembly is not tight
- The sway bar/end links were not tightened back up
- There is a tsb for the front body mounts and one of the symptoms of the issue is a clunking sound particularly on the front driver side

I would start by checking the sway bar and the links and making sure those are tightened up. Option two would be the tsb. Also be aware that the preload spacer with this kit will cause your strut to bottom out much quicker and could make a clunk and a harsh bump when it does.

Thank you Sir!! Will have them check it

I had the same exact scenario with my Mopar 2” lift. I tightened the sway bar end link then ended up installing a new one just to verify the ball joint wasn’t shot (they are cheap it was only $20 or so). The clink has been going on since I installed about 6 months ago and was driving me crazy. I couldn’t reproduce it on demand it would just randomly make the noise. After 3 days at the dealer this week they claim the nut on top of the strut assembly wasn’t tightened down all the way as mentioned above. Have not gotten the truck back bc they’re waiting on a rear window to come in to replace the cracked surround issue I had and water leaking. Will verify next week when I get it back if that fixed the clunk or not

Thank you!! Will suggest the top nut

Got my truck back today despite rear window being back ordered. Clunking is fixed it was indeed the strut tower nut. It rides better and no noise now
