Help me identify this part please

I found this in the bag the dealer gave me. I thought just the front license plate kit was in the bag but this was also. Anyone know what it is?

I think it’s the adapter for when you remove the tailgate.

If you remove the tailgate the wires need to plug into something so the end's don't get dirty/damaged. The plastic piece just has dummy plugs on it.

I'm 99% sure that's a thingamajig. It's for attaching the doohickey to the whatchamacallit.

Good to know...I am missing my front license plate bracket, so I'll be sure to get the thingamajig when I go to the dealer to pick it up. Troutspinner, thanks for posting the question, and Habu987, thank you for letting me know what this is called. I'd hate to go to the dealer and make a fool of myself not knowing the name of the part that is missing.
