Hi guys,
We bought a 2023 Rebel last sept. We live here up north in the arctic and the we had our winter solstice and no sun since december. The sun is out again and I'm trying to figure out why my truck wont switch back to drls when I'm driving when the sun is out. I still have my headlights and fogs on even when its bright out.
I had the DRL to be the turn signal lights using ALFAOBD. It was working really good until it was always dark here. now that we have the sun for a few hours everyday, my system doesnt automatically switch to just drl during the day.
Is there a setting that I can look at to fix it? I have my headlight setting to Auto all the time. Even the radio/dashboard doesnt switch. When I switch the headlight know to just park, the dashboard and radio switch to darker.

on my ALFA settings
DRL - Optional
DRL location - Turn signal
DRL dropout - yes

anyway to adjust the sensitivity to pickup the light? or anywhere I can look at.

Thanks!

reverse everything back to OE setting and see if the problem goes away.
if not then it's probably because it's not bright enough for the sensors. not sure if you can adjust the sensitivity.

These trucks seem to have a penchant for turning the lights on a bit earlier/ off later than other vehicles. I do wish there was a way to separate the dimming of the interior lights from the exterior.
