So I spent the last week researching what aftermarket wheels I wanted to purchase. I ended up going with these but I’m afraid I might of went with to much of an offset. These are 22x12 with a negative 40. They have an 22x10 option with an negative 12 offset in these same wheels. Do you guys think I should send them back for the and go with the 22x10’s? This is my first set of aftermarket wheels on a truck!

You're probably going to experience some rubbing, but that can be fixed. I also have 22x12 wheels w/ 33" tires. I currently work out of town and in less than a week, i'll be going home and installing them. I am only running a leveling kit, so i'm prepared to experience some rubbing. I did the same thing for my 2012 ram sport. Only leveled with 20x12's and 33's. It wasn't too hard to get everything dialed in and not rubbing, and that was without trimming anything. I'd say go ahead and fit them, and go from there. I'm personally highly fond of the whole "leveled and wide" look, so that's what I go for every time with every new truck I buy.

Only you know the look you're really after, I think its too much. I believe it will stick out approx. 5" that's almost half the tire. The 22x10 -12 will stick out approx 2" either way it will look good.

If you are second guessing I would swap out. I liked 20x12 at first but then I got curb rash and I hated it

So went a head and got them out on this morning. What do you guys think. I’m very happy with the look myself. I still have some work to do to dial them in so they don’t work but I feel like I have a solid plan.

What's that entail?
Heavy wheel @48lbs...hub rings installed?

So as of the moment I haven’t did any modifications to the truck. I wanted to see what I was working with before I started trimming or adding parts. The truck is currently rubbing plastic at all heights at full turn. When set at entry mode it’s very bad the other settings are minor. So here’s the plan.

1: Add the Daystar leveling blocks. I already have purchase the kit and I’m going to install tomorrow.

2: Make my own modified links. I order all the parts from Granger and will have the Tuesday.

3: Trim a little of the plastic on the wheel well. I don’t think it will take much.

I came up with this plan from reading on the forum for the last two weeks and these all have seemed to produce good results.

Asanti Cleaver, eh? Pretty crazy aggressive, but I LOVE the brushed titanium finish on a silver truck. I've have gone a bit smaller on the wheel and thicker on the sidewall, but I'm into more of an off-road look.

Most definitely aggressive looking. I wasn’t sure if would be to much for my taste but I actually like it a lot. The color of the wheels just hit perfectly with the truck. I’m very happy with my decision. I purchased online so I didn’t see them in person till they came.

That's pretty much where i'm at right now too. I ordered everything online and won't see the outcome until Wednesday. I'm hoping my results are as good as yours, lol.

I will say, 12 wides on the new body style are a lot less aggresive than on the 4th gens. I'm happy about that. My 20x12's on my 4th gen stick out quite a bit.

This is so true, I saw 4th gen with 12 wides and it looked super aggressive. I also think you have to really be careful about the offsets. I was trying my best to tread the needle!

I actually thought the same. I have never went this aggressive before but I’m really liking the look. The gray gives it a really sneaky look. It doesn’t jump out at you. If it was a chrome sitting like this I don’t believe I would of liked it.

You definitely made the right choice. Those wheels compliment the truck nicely.
