I have a 2019 Ram 1500 Laramie Sport 5.7L. Unbelievably, I've had rodent chew entirely through the coax cable going to the backup camera near the connector at the tailgate. It chewed through the loom and several wires. All of which I could fix except the coax cable for the camera. I purchased what I thought was the correct replacement cable (68417560aa - VIN verified by Mopar store) however my mechanic says it's not correct and seems at a loss to figure out how to replace it. I can do it myself but I didn't have the time. After a month of waiting for them to figure it out I'm frustrated and have some time to do it myself. I need help understanding where this cable goes. It doesn't seem long enough to reach the radio input even thought the connectors match. Is there an intermediate connection somewhere I need to look for? Should I not bother and just take it to a dealer? Any help is appreciated.

Thanks
Scott

Well, after some searching I found the cable is part of the chassis wiring harness and the cable I purchased is indeed not correct. So it appears my options are replace the entire left side chassis harness or splice the coax cable which I'm not exactly keen on as that would seem to invite future problems. The question I have now is how to find out the correct part number for my truck (quad cab)?
