Hello from Sweden

Thank you for a great forum! Learning something new every day!

Originally from Norway, but live in Sweden. Did my studies at UNL in the Midwest and been working with imports from the US for a large part of my grown life.

Almost got a 2018 F150 Platinum, but then I found this... the all new Ram.
This model hasn’t made it to us yet, so I am getting my truck from Canada through an export company with an operation in Germany, Europe. They import and homologise the truck for the EU and then I go to Germany, pick it up and import it myself to Sweden. Now it is already approved for EU countries so the last part is a formality.

No matter what, I am really looking forward to getting the truck some time in October, hopefully.

Very cool. I was in Germany last month and while there weren't many, I was surprised to see full size trucks from the big three US makers on the road there. Enjoy yours!

Thanks devildodge! I will keep you posted. Already started collecting thoughts, ideas - ordered som extra wheels for it, found which tonneau I think I will get as well as looking at the composition of the air suspension... Will also be at Sema and expect to see some interesting things

Thanks Edwards! In Sweden we also have quite a bit of them. Have a Dodge dealer not far down the road from where I live, but they won’t have the new model until next year. But, at least I have a place to go if in trouble...
