Hello everyone,
Thought I would take a minute and introduce myself. I’ve been very active over on the HDrams page, but am a long time lurker here.
I just took delivery of my 2025 RAM 1500. Previously I’ve owned 2500 and 3500’s but this is my first half ton. My wife has owned three 1500’s and I have owned 7 prior Dodge / RAM HD diesels.
I traded in my 2022 RAM 3500 dually on this truck. So far I’m really enjoying it. The extra cab space and smooth ride are very nice, and I’m impressed with the power and responsiveness of the 3.0 Hurricane SST. This truck came with the 3.92 axle ratio so that seems to be helping with the off-the-line power. I’m taking a break from the HD trucks and focusing on shifting financial resources towards developing our 7 acre property. These trucks are a substantial savings in both ownership and operating expenses. I won’t be needing another dually diesel for a few years so I decided to give these half tons a try. As I said earlier my wife has owned three, and all of them have been stellar performers.
Thanks for having me in the group!
