I can't seem to get my headlights to turn all the way off. I went to a drive-in movie and had to keep my truck shut off with no sound due to this. Does anyone know how to turn off all exterior lighting with the vehicle running and/or in accessory mode? I can't get the "outline" around the headlights to shut off, I've tried everything I can think of.

Sounds like you had DRL turned on in UConnect. With engine running the headlights would then be on in a low mode.
Just go into UConnect and disable Daytime Running Lights.

I thought that would fix it, too. The DRLs are disabled. It is the outline (think string lights) that surround each headlight that won't shut off. I have also tried to apply the e-brake which hasn't worked, either. I'll try to get a picture tonight to help out.

Those are not DRL's and by design from RAM, they are supposed to be on anytime the truck is on or running. I guess they never thought about the drive in.
I've not run across any way to disable those. Maybe some RAM logo'd washcloths to hang over them the next time?

Yeah, hopefully someone will know a work around to disable them. Until then it looks like a washcloth over the headlights :/.

I am pretty sure you can turn the radio on with the ign in the off mode.....just hit the power button!

Only stays on for maximum of 10 minutes at a time. Also shuts off immediately when door is opened. I think I noticed this too last weekend in a parking lot at night. I thought my lights were somehow still on (ignition was on, engine off), but they were definitely set to off... sounds like RAM hardwired the "Signature Lights" (strip at top/bottom of the projector LED headlight models) to be on whenever the ignition is in ACC or RUN?

I just want to know where there is still a drive in.

So this may be extreme but I bet you could hardwire in a cutoff switch under the hood.

It's also an issue at the boat ramp in the dark. Having the headlights on really irritates the other drivers trying to put there boats in.

Drive-ins are awesome! I'm glad we still have ours here in Tulsa, OK.

The only thing that "works" is hit the ignition switch. That keeps the lights off when the e-brake is on. BUT, it powers off after 10 minutes, when you open a door, you can't run the A/C (it's hot down here), and other items that I would like to be able to use.

It's just odd to me there seems to be no way to turn them off. Maybe someone will figure out some way to do it - I've tried every suggestion so far with no luck (the manual doesn't address this, either).

This made me think beyond the drive in. My first planned trip with the truck is going to be camping in a Dark Sky park. I guess turning a light switch off doesn’t mean what it used to.

I was just gonna post about this. Same thing with me, 1st day back at work new truck, I get there early have coffee read the news. I usally leave truck on for ac but this morning I couldn't get lights to go off so I had turn truck off.

Any news on this? I hunt quite a bit and this is going to be a problem getting in out of spots early in the morning. I know they are not super bright but still enough to draw attention. Outside of that part I think they awesome looking. Any updates?

Is there a way to run a cutoff switch to the fuse box? This is super ****ty. Why can't we just shut it al off when the selector is in the off position? Why have a freaking off position??????????????
