Head lights

Not sure about the controls for the head lights but made the following observation: Day time, I have the head light on auto, so the lights do not come on. But when I exit the vehicle and lock it the head light knob is turned to "on" or some other selection. I noticed this when I come back and unlock the door sometime later. What's the deal?

Or possibly your truck may be haunted.

Mine has never done that, but then again I'm living on consecrated ground. Or so legend has it.

I really think the only power knob is the gear selector that will switch to Park if you turn the vehicle off when in Drive.

I hit mine with my knee all the time and realize it when my auto dimming headlights don't work

The knob rotates and hitting it with my knee won't rotate it. I tried to brush it with my knee and nothing happened. Strange.............
