Having issues upgrading from 8.4 to 12”

I have a 2022 ram 1500 warlock , i have the 8.4 screen no nav , want yo install the 12.1 but plugs are different mine has small blue and green plugs not the large black one

Are you upgrading from non nav i think you need to get addiitonal items,

Just finished upgrading my 8.4 screen to a 12. I got a lot of information from this forum. So, I want to return the favor.

You have a Uconnect 4 unit in the vehicle, that has a 52 Pin black connector, the new Uconnect 5 radios have a different connector style of a smaller blue and green connectors. You need to make or buy conversion wiring to be able to plug in a Uconnect 5 radio into an older Uconnect 4 or 3 vehicle. You can find these type of conversion wiring online.
