Has anyone painted the stock or mopar 2" lift control arms?

going to be doing a level shortly and would like to paint the control arms. From what ive seen the 2" lift mopars are the best bang for the buck, but i would like to paint them red. Has anyone done it? Did it hold up at all on the plastic shell?

The control arm is a steel shell which is then filled with plastic. Shouldn't have any problems with paint, although the underside is where the plastic is exposed

You should get better UCA's.
