Has anybody painted the front skid plate? what kind of paint are you using???

I only matched the skid plate to the bumper. looked at guys who did the flexi-spray but all had chipping, etc shortly after. So I took mine off and to a bed spray shop. Only costed $70 for the spray and I think it looks so much better and should hold up to rocks, etc.
