I have a crew cab 5'7" bed, no ramboxes, no MFT, no utility rails. On my old Sport Trac, I had an OEM bi-folding hard cover that had a locking push-button latch at the front and at the back, so that I could fold the cover from either end and access the bed, all without dropping the tailgate. I liked the convenience of it, but I also acknowledge that I probably won't do as much reaching directly into the bed with the RAM simply because it's a taller bed rail. Is there something like that available, or should I just go with one of the typical hard tri-fold models that people like? Everything I've seen has the latching mechanism inside the bed, requiring the tailgate to be open to retract or lift the cover. I definitely don't want something that requires the tailgate to be opened before closing the tonneau, but I suppose I can live with needing to drop the tailgate to open the tonneau. What are my best options, then? Just go Bakflip MX4 and call it a day or something cool I haven't even heard of?
