So a while back I standardized in cordless tool technology.
There are a lot of good ones out there, but I landed on the Milwaukee 18v system.
Sadly I discovered a nasty scratch from under the mirror, passenger side all the way back to the tail light.
I was pissed.
I had a mild polish on hand and my handy little Milwaukee random orbit sander that I bought for the sole purpose of automotive polishing. (No sanding/sandpaper).
I hit it w the polish, then a polish/sealer combo from Griots Garage.
Luckily, the paint looks like new and the scratch gone. I love my cordless toys

Oh, one more thing. The scratch scraped across the plastic wheel arches too. Couldn't buff that out. Anyone know of a good way to fix that? Maybe wet sanding?

need to post a pic, but wet sanding will only help if the scratch hasn't gone any deeper than the clear coat. Likely you will need to "fill" the scratch with paint, and then wet sand it smooth.
