So I think I am finally sure there is a grinding noise coming from the rear when I am making right hand turns. Anybody else experience this or is there a thread on this already somewhere?

I would logically expect to hear something coming from the front as those are the wheels that are turning, not the back. I did some 'testing' this weekend and it seems easily repeatable with a tighter turn radius. I am not handy with vehicle repairs so I will be going back to the dealer again....but looking for some advice on what I could recommend.

Do you have a Sure Grip rear end or the locker. The Sure Grip clutches have to slip turning corners. Tighter corners would make it worse.

I believe I have the locker - has the button for Axle Lock and window sticker says Electronic Locking Rear Axle.

Noise can be deceiving. Does it pulse? If so, could be a wheel bearing.

No pulse...I would say more a scrape/grind sound like something would be sliding in the bed only there is nothing back there and I have a bed rug over a spray-in bed liner.

Hi there, @Trippi. It looks like your concerns match what is described in STAR S2019000003. If you intend to address this with your dealer, please follow up with our team in a PM for additional support!
