grille shutter asm. u11e9 code

INot sure what gen my 2019 ram is but do know its new style. shutter was NOT jammed. Removed shutter motor, still plugged in and it does not have the arm on the actuator to limit/change position, but simply 1 of the shutter gear ends fits into it. Erased code but how do I remove it's function forever. thx

Did you ever get a resolution to this? My 2019 just threw the U11E9 code... would like to know what you did to correct it.
