Granite crystal metallic thread

Thx , the tires are 35x12.50r20 Nitto trail grapplers. The wheels are Hostle sprockets not sure the offset. The truck was lifted when I bought it and I was told it has a 6" lift . It's a rough country lift using the stock springs with spacers. The spacers measure 5". So I question if it's not just a 5" lift ? The only trimming I see is on the active air dam which is minimal.

Just removed the lower valance piece and installed the see through grill. Just waiting on my Shifts and Grins bracket to install the 32” Lasfit light bar!

Those look really good on there. How's the ride?
It’s not bad at all. I notice it’s a bit more firm than the Nittos, but going from an XL tire to an E rated tire it’s a bit expected. Running about 40psi. So far, honestly I think they’re quieter than the Nittos were. I hear an ever so slight hum on the highway but the Nittos hummed more. We’ll see what happens when I put more miles on, but so far so good.

Thanks for the input. Thinking about selling the Fuel/Cooper setup I have and going with spacers and bigger/more aggressive tires on the factory 22s, so your tires peaked my interest.

It's probably too early to tell what type of mileage hit you're going to take. I'm thinking it's going to be about 2 MPG.

I've read a lot of reviews on the Recon Grapplers and it seems they are a fairly loud tire. Louder than the Ridge Grapplers, which seems bass ackwards.

Those tires look great on your truck. I was looking at those too, but I just didn't want a heavy, E rated tire.

It wouldn’t surprise me. I’m going to get my speedo recalibrated Tuesday at the dealer. Speedo is off about 2-3 mph depending on the speed. Tested it with a GPS app with the phone 100% disconnected from the truck for accuracy. I have a 33” recal on it already, but since these are 34.6”ish, it’s thrown off again, but closer than it would have been on stock tires.

It’s odd, you’d think the Recons would be the quieter tire than the Ridges, I haven’t ever tried the Ridges. This was the first A/T tire I’ve ever had. They weren’t bad, my wife noticed a difference and mentioned It one time, but that’s about it. It wasn’t obtrusive, turn up the music a tad and it’s not noticeable, but noticeable vs. a highway tire. I just couldn’t believe these Baja’s were quieter, I would have expected about the same as the Recons.
