I only have 2100 miles on the truck - haven't ever used the axle locker but got this message - taking to dealer - sixth visit/problem in two months - love the truck but the QC sucks.

Hello sbourne,
We are terribly sorry for the reoccurring concerns with your vehicle. If we can be of any assistance while in service, send us a direct message. We'd be glad to help.

Maybe forwarding all these problems to the factory so they build this stuff right the first time would help. Otherwise - I am making payments on a truck that I cannot drive. There's nothing you can do to give me back my time - hours and hours sitting around a dealership waiting to see what the fix is.

You dislike the truck so much you had to make two separate posts about the same problem?

Ummmm - who are you - the post police? You one of those fanboys who wants to pretend these trucks are perfect because to admit otherwise you may look bad? We need to discuss real problems so that at the very least RAM knows about it.

Yes the forums are to figure out problems and I don't think anyone is pretending these trucks don't have problems. I think he was stating that you don't need two threads to get your point across.
I do agree it sucks when you have to bring the truck in for service. But look at this way that's why we get a warranty because all manufacturers now even new items have problems no matter how quality control their is. If the truck doesn't have a problem at the factory during the time of inspection which there is no way to prove then you can't blame the assembly line. Faulty parts happen, get it fixed under warranty and enjoy your truck

First - I posted two threads by accident. The mods could have deleted it if it was that troublesome to some people.

Second - I am trying to enjoy my truck - Hard to do because I just never get to drive it because it's always at the shop. I don't understand the fanboy mentality here. If we don't call out problems RAM will just take that as license to skip quality control which appears to have happened to mine and a lot of trucks. (Multiple recalls, TSBs, brake issue, AC issue, etc.)

I have to make the payment for this week's ownership - but this week I don't get to drive it because it's in the shop. If that wouldn't **** you off - well my hat's off to you. You're a better man than I am. I am hopeful that they will sort it all out - I want to love the truck. But if it continues this way I will make a case for a lemon law violation and see how it goes from there. I would RATHER they just sort it out and fix it. I really would. But don't worry I won't post anymore to this forum. I can see that folks don't want people posting bad news here so I'll just take it to RAM directly. I was only hoping to alert others to the possible problem. My dad was right - the pathway to hell is full of good intentions.

Dude...
1. Delete the post if it was accidental and you knew it...your mother isn't here to pick up after you.
2. The "fanboy mentality" you're speaking of is pretty weak here...I'm actually MORE paranoid about buying my truck after trolling so many posts BUT, in reality, it's just guinea pig blues on a first year model. I'm thankful for the mostly level headed approaches to problems with the occasional rant for outliers.
3. In my opinion, you seem pissy and if you're going to rant don't be so defensive...in the end if you're right...you're right.

I could be? If you knew you posted it in two places then why not delete one like was previously mentioned?

Fanboy? Hardly. This is my first FCA product. I've had problems with my truck already and know it isn't perfect.
