Got new mirror caps, tips for install?

Pay the dealer to replace them.
Unless they want $300, in which case just be prepared to buy the glass when you break one or both.
Other than that, maybe try some heat on the mirror to make the plastic a little more flexible and maybe you'll have better luck getting the mirrors out without breaking them.
