I’ve recently upgraded my UC5 8” to the 12” and today I discovered you can use google maps satellite view in CarPlay. I’m sure I am late to the game with this, but it is super cool!

I wish Android Auto map would go full screen. Or I'm just an idiot and haven't figured it out yet.

You aren't an idiot. It's been requested, but some reason Uconnect just won't add it.

I thought it was AA and not Uconnect? As much as I love my phone and hate having to use my work iPhone, I cannot stand how crappy AA is.
It's a uconnect thing. Which is weird, because it's an android based UI. Wondering if Apple paid for the full screen integration, and Android hasnt.

Like mentioned, it's a Uconnect thing. I have full screen AA in my truck, but that's because I have an aftermarket 13" screen.
How did you utilize two smaller windows at the bottom of the screen? ( looks like siriusxm and a favorites). I only seem to be able to have two bigger windows, one on top and one on the bottom.

In the “edit pages” just above the home button on the bottom left. There are lots of options for the screen set up.

You have to set that view on your phone and then it will display in the truck.
Do you have UC5 or the older UC4?

I set up the pages today so it resembles yours in the picture but I can not seem to get the map to show like you did. It only shows widgets on the top. I'm starting to think it doesn't like Android Auto for this. CarPlay seems to work better for most people.
The widget bar, like that, is definitely a carplay feature and not AA. But you can still get satellite view with AA, and you can switch it from the 12" display.

I do get the satellite view when in the Android Auto mode, just not in the "Home" mode like above.
