Going from 6” ProComp to RC 3.5”.

My fellow Ram owners. I have my ‘19 Ram 1500 4wd sitting on a 6” ProComp lift with 22” wheels and 37s. I looking to going to less aggressive stance. It’s my daily constant driver (like I’m in and out of it all day) and need it to be more comfortable to move around and park. I’m thinking of going down to the RC 3.5 level lift with the VenomRex wheels and 35s. Do any of you know if I need to change anything else other than just the suspension?

You maybe out of luck on that. The 6” lift required cutting the crossmember. Once that’s done there is no going back.

You may be able go to a 4” lift.

I wouldn't go down to the 3.5" kit as it will ride very rough because of the preload spacer. You could patch together some pieces to make it a 4" and save your ride though. BDS is the only company with a 4" kit and all of the parts are the same except for the rear springs and shocks in the back and the spacer in the front. Everything else is the same. Get with BDS and buy just those pieces and swap them out. Another alternative would be to buy a set of Bilstein 5100s. Set them at 1.5-2" and also buy a 2-2.5" top hat spacer to get to 4" of lift. Get a 2-3" spacer in the rear depending on how much rake you want and a pair of shocks that match the lift height.

You may be able to call procomp and see if you can run a smaller strut spacer? Considering most kits drop everything down 4-5 inches you may be able to do that, I’d start with that and smaller tires... the tires will give you all the ground clearance
