Glove box bulb

How do you get to the bulb in the top glove box? Does that little black plate around the light pry off or do I have to remove the box to get to it? Replacing interior lights with led's and the boxes are the last 2.

The upper or lower glovebox? I changed to led on the lower. It was a pain to get out, but didn’t have to remove anything to get to it. Well, until I launched the bulb somewhere behind my glove box. I recommend putting some tape on the bulb so when you do dislodge it, it doesn’t go flying like mine did

I haven't looked at the lower box yet, just the upper. Was not sure how to get to the upper bulb. I liked the story about you launching the bulb. Sounds like something that I would do!

I just looked at the bottom box bulb and that looks like a bugger to get out!
