Gloss black badging

Has anyone made the black out badging high gloss? Can you just spray a high gloss clear coat on it?

No if anythings it just gonna make the matte black l, shiny matte black.. if your gonna go through all that work just use a gloss black paint from the get go.

And be sure that it's compatible with plastics so it doesn't melt them!
