I just want to let you fine ladies and gentlemen know that the General Grabber ATX is available in size 275/70/18 as a passenger rated tire option. If you have shopped for this size before, you know that this size is pretty much all LT 10ply rated, which for my application is an overkill - too rough of a ride and loud. Also my gas mileage was taking a beating with the previous LT rated Duratracs I assume due to the additional weight. They are also cheaper than the LT rated options in this size, but that was not a real selling point for me.
The Grabber ATX seems to be an excellent overall tire - have taken through some super soft sand on the beach and handled the hard rock and dirt roads that lead out to the beach like a champ. Also very quiet on pavement for the aggressive nature of the tire.
Anyways, just wanted to spread the news on this option for Ram owners seeking a non-LT rated 33 inch tire.
