General Grabber A/T x

I've got a 2020 Rebel( stock non-air) 44,000 miles, my factory Duratraks are starting to make alot of noise so I'm looking to replace them. Just noticed some General Grabber A/T on Jeep Wrangler that looked nice. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with them?

I had them on a previous vehicle, they are a very nice tire and a lot cheaper than the BFG's.

You can get those General's in the stock Rebel size in a lighter P-metric size, if that matters to you - your TPMS will have a fit though.

Otherwise, reviews seem decent. Note that the E-range tires in this lineup are a bit heavy.

I had them on my previous truck. Great tire, but they did throw stones pretty bad if that's important. I know a lot of tires with that tread pattern will, but these seemed to do it a lot in my opinion.

How is your MPG with them? I see they weigh 49lbs vs 42lbs of factory Bridgestones.

I had them on my 2019 RAM and liked them very much. I had about 50k miles on them when I traded the truck in and they still had plenty of tread left.

I currently have ~31k miles on my new truck, and the factory Duratracs, and plan on replacing them with Grabber ATx when the time comes. I like them better than the Good Years, although they’ve been good also.

City numbers are sad but mainly because i drive in downtown LA with a lot of stops and slow drivers
City average 12, can be lower if traffic flow sucks but can get 14 if i drive conservative and traffic flow is good

Sorry yea forgot to mention these are LT, 275/60r20 only come in LT, what size are you trying to get because these are available in non LT on 275/55/r20
These are super quiet so no worries with the noise

I had mud tires on my previous 4th gen, so this time I wanted a mild aggressive a/t tire but couldn't find any to my liking that wasn't LT.
At the time the nitto recon grappler wasn't out yet so you might want to check that one out, its offer in a none LT

I've read they are pretty loud. I had the Ridge Grapplers on my last Ram and they drove me nuts. 55k on them and they were still going though, great tire, just loud.

I just picked up a set of these in the stock P275/55R20. My stock HL's had only 25K on em, and if winter wasn't here I could make them last till next September. I made it through 3 winters with the HL's, but I have a 3 mile descent on a curvy road, and the last couple of snows- stopping or slowing down was a BIG problem.

Anyway- I got these for $239 each including mount and balance here in Gardner, Ma, On my short ride home- I did notice a bit more noise, but ride felt good, but now it felt more planted and I felt more secure in driving on them. They are 8 lbs heavier each than the HL's, so I know mileage will take a hit.
