Has anyone noticed their gas door popping open intermittently?

Nope I've never heard anyone else saying anything about it. I've never have had it to happen yet

I have not had this happen or heard of it until now either.

Yes, mine does this occasionally. l assume a big enough bump causes enough body flex to pop it open
I'd be shocked if body flex would do that. Could someone be messing with you? If not, the push-push latch may be defective.

Thanks for the replies. Just seems odd to me.

Mine has never popped on its own. There have been a couple of times it didn't initially close when I pushed it closed. I'd guess it's a bad latch mechanism.

I noticed if someone leans against the truck in that area, it can pop open.

I have had it happen twice. First time I can only assume I did it leaning over to put something into the bed. It happened again a few hours later when I saw my sister lean over and put something into the bed. She pushed up against it just like I had and walked away with it left popped open.

I believe dickidoos and dunlaps are the culprits.
