My Garage Height is 7' even and 21' in length. Height is no issue. Length is tight though. Only have just enough room to squeeze around by the back wall of the garage (21 Rebel Crew 5.7 bed)
What’s the width of your garage opening?

So jealous. My garage is almost 12’ feet high and I can almost get a vette on a 4 post on top of my Ram.

‘21 1500 Ltd, Max Steel / Indigo Frost
I've posted bout' 3-4 other times in other threads on the bare 2" mine has in the current home.
Next house being built "had" a 4' garage extension in the sales brochure then the builder said it had been "dropped".
Now "her preciousness queenie" will have to sit outside with the commoner Ford, sniff sniff.

What size is the opening in everyones garage they are putting their 1500s in? Im expecting a wide number of various sizes. Ultimately trying to figure out if mine is gonna fit. Im thinking Im good, likely gonna have to close in the side mirrors.
2020 1500 DT Crew short bed:

9’ wide door (107” moulding to moulding). Don’t fold the mirrors in but have to watch.

8’ high door (no issues)

21’ long garage (252” wall to door) fits fine. I pull in until the park sensors just go red. If I let the front bumper touch the pipe insulation taped on the front wall, I can close the garage door with the tailgate down and the bed extender just hanging off the dual sport rear tire, hanging a bit past the gate.

bTW, those lifts are nice, but I now have a single post lift, that’s the bee’s knees! The one post is against the outside wall, so no posts to get in the way.

The original (1940s) garage on our house was less than 18' wide and deep, with a 16' x 6'-6" door...just barely a 2-car garage. I was able to extend it to 25' deep, keeping the interior width at about 17'-8" due to side yard setback requirements. I installed a 16' x 7' door.

As you can see, we use it for two cars. We back my wife's Audi in along the left-hand side, and we park the Ram along the right-hand side. I don't fold mirrors in until parked (just clearing the door opening on the right and then using the wall as my guide). Parking this way enables us to use the center of the garage as an aisle to access the driver's seat in either vehicle, while leaving plenty of room at the front of the garage.

With the LEER Model 122 Highrise Cap I have, The standard ride height
has the Truck at 90 inches tall. I just checked the Door at the Makerspace
I use for the lift. It is at 92 inches. I just clear but if I lower the Air Suspension
I can get another 2 inches of clearance to get in.

Mines 24’ deep fits fine, couple three feet to spare. Really would like to put a lift in there, but my ceiling is like 10’ high.

I had the length I needed for a CC 6'4" but was concerned about height so the dealer let me test drive it to my house to check first. Main concern was the Sharkfin but after consulting with the garage door folks I was able to remove a redundant aluminum brace and get the clearance I needed. 20210319_082811.jpg 20210319_082818.jpg 20210319_082804.jpg

Like db252’s garage, mine is tight:

When I built our current home I was messing around with this BS 2 car single door stuff. Garage is 32 ' deep, with two seperate 8x10 ft doors. so much more room for activities.
Trade you some width from our current 2 car 16’ door for some length...

The length of a Ram 1500 short bed crew is just under 133 inches or 19.5 feet; the previous owners who built my 3 car garage must have owned Fiat's or Mini Coopers because the openings are just wide enough to get my son's Laramie in with mirrors folded and not much room to spare on either side.

When we were house shopping, 80+% of the new home builders garages were less than 20' long, like 19 to 19'6". Ridiculous. Like 4 door trucks are a "new thing" or somethin'...
