Garage Door randomly opens

I just replaced my old truck (2021 limited with home link) with a 2025 Tungsten... we have had this truck about 10 days, twice during that time I had our garage door just randomly open. Once when we approached the truck with proximity set on. I have since turned the proximity setting off. It happened again this morning when we got up the garage door was open, we checked it last night before going to bed and it was closed. We have never had this happen in the 10 years we have lived here...Can the home link be occasionally transmitting? but this is the only thing that has changed... Any ideas? it's a rolling code type of opener..

I had that same problem when I first got my Limited programmed. I found out that while I was programming it and had the opener in learn mode, my neighbor across the street had come home. Got up the next morning and the garage door was open. Later that day I heard it opening again. My neighbor was doing it and didn't know. I just zeroed it all out and started over.

Thanks I'll erase the existing codes and try again....

As childish as it would be, I wish I had an opener that would open my neighbor's garage door. He is the type that would, well let's just say be in total denial that it could happen. He would be bewildered, ask everyone's opinion, go to the big box store, search the Interweb for answers. After a week I would offer my opinion & sorta hide the remote in his garage.
