I have a built to serve and would like to throw a proper levelling kit on it eventually. From what I understand the BTS already has a mild factory "lift". The truck currently fits through my standard 7' garage door. My question is if I level the front will it fit? Does anyone have a leveled 1500 with a standard height garage door?

Easiest way, pull your truck up to the garage door and look at clearances and measure to see how much you have with the shark fin.

If you put on a "proper" level you will lose the one inch and gain twp to three inches. Using those measutements you should know. No two trucks will get exactly the same so you can only use your own.

The XM antenna is the highest point, being on top of the cab.
When I bought the truck that was what I was worried about most. But it cleared by a few inches. I will take some more measurements at some point. but I am very spoiled with my garage so I want it to fit LOL.

Depending on what you're saying, I don't have air suspension, or, if you meant air down the tires, sorry but I am not airing my tires up and down every time I leave the house/ return home LOL
Suit yourself.

According to Ram's specs, a 1500 4x4 is 77.6" tall. A 2500 4x4 is 80.1" tall. My garage doors are 7' tall (84") and when I had a 1500 there was plenty of clearance, and my current truck, a 2500 4x4 fits fine. I think the O.P. will be ok with a few extra inches from a level.thumbnail_PXL_20240314_205904872.jpg

He'll be fine..

I have a 7' (84") garage door.
I'm 1.625" leveled and have 285/60R20s (33.5") for a total of 2.25" front lift and 0.75" rear lift.
I've got a few inches to spare going into my garage..I think I remember measuring my "shark fin" at ~81"

the BTS factory lift doesn't mean anything once a "proper" kit is installed.
So, if you are actually doing the "proper" kit (ie, Bilstein 5100s) then just start with the regular non-BTS/ non-ORG height and go from there (realistically, you probably will gain 1" or so compared to what you currently have, but when you set your Bilstein 5100s you'll need to set it for 2" - or something of that sort - instead)
