Very well could be.
In the mid-80’s my high school had a front row in the parking lot that was nicknamed “Stud Row”. That’s where all the guys with muscle cars parked. 70’s Trans Am’s, Camaro’s, Cutlass, Chevelle’s, Mustang’s and even a few Mopars. It was like a car show every day. Those were the days. I go by now and it’s all 4 door family cars and SUV’s. So lame.
I had a 71 Duster as a Junior, then later a 68 notchback Mustang for my last half as a Senior. Had my brother sell the stang after I joined up and shipped off to Germany.
