Truck came from dealer with a full tank of 87....it ran fine. I read the manual as stated earlier....89 was recommended. Service guy said use 89....I have only put 89 in truck. Truck runs great....21mpg highway and on most two lane roads I travel on. 89 is 10 cents more a gallon in Oregon where I fill up most times....I plan to keep truck a long time.....easy decision.
