Hey everyone,
Having an issue with my 2020 bighorn 5.7 where it semi frequently does not turn off the pump when the tank is full. I've owned the truck a bit over a year and it has happened 6 times. I'm assuming it's a filler hose issue but I'm curious if anyone else has had a similar issue.

I've noticed on mine I sometimes have to wiggle the nozzle around a little to find the angle where it goes in all the way. So just a guess, maybe you're not quite getting it in all the way?

I've never had that. I have had it where it shuts off right away.

My 2012 did this, was an issue with the neck. There were pinholes in it which relieved pressure and allowed the fuel to run right up faster than the pump could detect it. That being said, it would also throw an evap leak.. its a quick fix and under 100 bucks to see if it works.

pump shut off has little to do with the tank
pump shut off is controlled by the pump nozzle

Is it always at the same pump? If so, use a different pump and see if the problem goes away.
