Front Map Light Lens Removal

Anyone know how to remove the lens on the map light? I have a spider that crawled in there and died and it's driving me nuts. I attempted gently prying with a nylon trim tool but was afraid of breaking and it didn't really seem to budge.

I'm in the process of converting my interior lights to LEDs and was wondering what size the interior dome light is. I've seen references on here to 41mm but the Lasfit site is showing 44mm for the 2021 RAM. Diode Dynamics has a 41mm festoon but their 44mm has wire/loop contacts which obviously won't work.

Also, what is the best tool to use to remove the map light lens covers/diffusers? I don't have anything small enough to fit in between the lens and the housing without damaging either. I tried over the weekend to remove the housing itself by removing the two front bolts that anchor it to...
