I know you already bought the jumper cables, but I got a NOCO Boost Plus GB40 a couple years ago and never looked back. They go on sale for $75 every now and then on Amazon. Less space, less weight, less hassle. It held enough charge after 10 months to start my truck, but I just charge it every 6 months now.

You are right, but I bought the cables already. I saw there are a few other brand options too.
