Quick question. I have to have some warranty work on my truck tomorrow. The clock spring (actually it is a module nowadays) has to be replaced on my truck. The service department first scheduled me for next Tuesday at two o’clock, but I asked if they had anything at a different time. After a few minutes, the service representative came back on the phone and said that they had worked me in at one o’clock this Friday. I know that question might be silly, but I can OCD about stuff like that. Who else is a little paranoid about having work done after lunch on a Friday? My gut tells me to go ahead and wait to have it done next Tuesday. Middle of the week seems to be a little less rushed. Am I being a little silly, or do others feel the same way that I do? Thanks in advance.

Around here they work Saturday mornings too so I wouldn’t be very worried about a Friday. Might be the same there.

I think like you, when I have work done on my vehicles, like say Discount Tire rotation & balance, I always try to get it scheduled ideally at 10am, Tuesday through Thursday.

I avoid Monday mornings or Friday afternoons.

However in the case of Stellantis service departments, I highly doubt they're going to actually work on it when you drop it off, most likely it's going to be the next day or so, especially if it's warranty work and not service.

Bring the tech a heat shaped pizza… he’ll do an extra good job for sure…lol.
When you bought your truck, did you make sure it wasn’t final assembled in that same window?

Just get it done and stop overthinking…

They are open on Saturday also, so I am good to go today.😄

go, the issues is always who s doing the work and you can t tell by what time and date you go. I brought mine into a new (to me) dealer and after doing a recall they also fixed the front end pop I was having while turning into a driveway. They had to re torque an end link .... hopefully you are pleasantly surprised.
