having my dash replaced, auto steps replaced, wheels replaced, steering wheel replaced, ram boxes replaced on Tuesday, after waiting since August last year, now the rear window frame cracked, this truck is a POS, I bought it as a retirement gift when I retired from the Navy, and the dealers suck, so beware. I had to call RAM to get my parts finally, and they came in a week, stay on the dealer if you wait longer than a month call RAM. Also anyone doing a law suit, I want in. This is my third Ram and my last, had them for 30 years. They lost my business

At least it's all getting fixed. I haven't had any issues with my 2020 Built to Serve other than a run in the paint from the factory.

My 2019 Laramie 1500 is also leaking….bad. First time it started leaking was around Easter 2022. Took it to the dealership and had to fight with Chrysler Customer Care to get them to mostly cover it. The dealer replaced the entire rear window assembly. It seemed like it was fixed. I went through the car wash a couple of times and then yesterday…we had a rain storm and the headliner was soaked! See photos. This is my first Ram and is most certainly my last! As much as I want to like this truck, Ram’s build quality is absolutely awful!!! I’ve had waaaay too many issues with this truck starting with the rear main seal leaking on day 4 of ownership with 220 miles on it. I still wish I had my 2008 Tundra with 170k miles. It is 1,000 times more reliable than Ram’s very poorly built trucks. #ramcares my butt! Oh and getting it towed is a common sight…
I'm sure you won't see this because it looks like a drive-by posting, but Tundra's are far from problem free. In the first 5,000 miles my 2008 Tundra developed a timing cover leak. It was fixed under warranty. The axle bearings were the next problem. My truck was out of warranty and the dealer wanted $2,000 to replace them. A few months later, the water pump went out. The OEM sidesteps were falling apart as well as some of the cheap plastic interior parts. I still don't consider that truck a POS, but it had more problems than any other truck I've owned and more expensive to repair.

I had a 2005 dodge Ram 1500, that I traded for this one, bought new in 2004, never had an issue with it for 16 years, had a 1996 before that, same thing no issues, so it is o POS. You expect better if you pay $70,000 for something, I have a lexus that is perfect, no issues, dealer is awesome, and it cost less, so I do expect more from Ram. Also I've been fixing fighter jets, all throughout covid and never had issues getting parts.

Thank for reading them all, I guess a $70,000 truck is OK with all these issues, I'm trying to tell everyone that has one to look out for these issues.

There are lemons that slip through with every manufacturer. Go to any manufacturer specific automotive forum and you will read multiple thread about people having issues with their cars. From low end Kia and Hyundai to high end models like Lexus, BMW, and Mercedes.

Unfortunately, it sounds like you got a bad one. Maybe look into lemon law requirements for your state.

As far as fixing fighter jets. I did 20 years in the Naval aviation. We always had supply issues with certain parts. Which is why there is a cannibalization process. There wasn't a single week that went by where we weren't cannibalizing a part from another jet to make a mission.

We don't can from other jets, we have two in phase and twelve of ours are ready for flight, we train the fleet pilots, if a jet goes down, night check fixes it, and it flies the next day, we have about 40 sorties a day, five days a week. 10 turn 10 turn 10 turn 10, We fly three times more than any other squadron. Thank you for your service.

So night shift does the canns. 20 years in avionics,.even helping out VFA-125 and VFA-122 and not once have I ever heard of someone not canning. It's the only way to keep jets flying. Especially when you have to swap parts on the line to make the sortie.
