Found yellow thingy.

While trying to figure out what might be wrong with my air dam, I noticed this yellow thing hanging out. Anyone know what it is?

This is just a guess. It looks like some kind of temporary bolt retainer. Is this what they're using on the assembly line now to keep the body holddown bolts from falling out of the frame on its way to the marrying station?

I would agree with it being something used on assembly line as a temporary retainer.

I've seen similar-looking plugs protecting the ends and O-rings on push-lock fittings. Are there any oil, AC, or transmission lines nearby?
