FOB/Radio Issues

I purchased my first RAM in December 2024 just a few months ago. Fast forward to today and I am having some electrical gremlins already.

1. Neither FOB works... No unlock/lock/remote start or alarm. (I can do all of these through the app)
2. When I shut it off and open the door the radio continues for several minutes. (Previous to this as soon as I opened the door the radio would shut off.)

Additional information. I have not modified this truck in anyway whatsoever. Its exactly like it was when I drove it new off the lot 3 months ago. I also tried the unhook the battery for 15 minutes and that didn't resolve anything.

Any directional help would be appreciated.

If the truck is only 3 months old, take it in for warranty repair. Sounds like the receiver is bad. I'm not sure if there is one receiver or 2, but your keyfobs would be operating on an RF signal, where the app control is likely a cellular signal.

Issue Resolved...

I originally only unhooked the primary battery. After closer inspection there is an auxiliary battery right behind the primary. I realized this after disconnecting the primary battery and the overhead light was still on inside the vehicle. After disconnecting both batteries for 15 minutes and reconnecting the fobs works again. Hope this helps someone else.... Also hope it doesn't happen again.
