Hey all,

Thanks for the discussion in advance.
I noticed today that my truck has a bit of separation happening from the top of my Bed to my cab when I have my Trailer hooked up. I never noticed this before and it brought a bit of concern up to me.
After doing some digging it seems to be a "normal" thing as the bed is attached to the frame and the Cab is attached separately on spacers. I tow this rig far and I just want to be sure and get some thoughts on it.

I have a 2020 Ram 1500 with the 5.7L and a 3.92 rear axle ratio that I specially hunted out for its higher towing capabilities. I also installed Airbags to help with the load and I do have a Equalizer Stabilizer hitch

The trailer is within the towing specs of the truck, however, the equalizer hitch was previously setup for a ram 3500. It looked to be in spec and the trailer is level but I'm thinking the the weight distribution may be off and I will have to re configure the hitch.

Regardless, back to the "flex" that i noticed. How normal is this. I never noticed it before and I have been towing with this truck 10 times a year going on 5 years now.

Attached are two pictures. Where my bed sits with no load. And where it sits with the trailer attached. The hitch is new to me. Im used to the older chain ones instead of these square bars.

Thanks in advanced

My bed does the same when I tow my camper.
Thanks for letting me know!

Its freaked me out. I got a new toyhauler that is slightly heavier than my old so I hyper observing my truck to make sure all was good and thats when I noticed it. Great setup by the way
