Hi,
Just got my drivers side mirror hit by a careless driver.Ive ordered a new one,but is it possible to switch out the outer housing assembly to the arm without taking the door panel off?
It was just the mirror, and housing that snapped off of the main arm that mounts(the swivel part)to the door.I guess Im asking if you can seperate them, and reattach.
Thanks

Safer to remove the door panel since you'll have to access the electrical connector for it.

Just got done.It was literally a ten minute job.
The door panel was different than the youtube videos I had seen for the model year,it was actually easier. It was attached with those black plastic wing barrels with plastic torx head screws, all on the outside.
Only one #3 phillips head screw at the door handle. Lucked out,no broken pieces to hunt down.
